VISTA INDIA is a full-service entertainment distribution company dedicated to the needs of the fast growing Indian community in the United States and Canada. Incorporated in 1991, Vista India now, encompasses the whole gamut of distribution i.e wholesale, retail, new technologies (internet/mail order) in value added entertainment products like compact discs, digital versatile discs (DVD) and videos.
Product Lines The company currently distributes on an exclusive/non exclusive basis for number of major and independent producers of South Asian entertainment. It is this reputation and goodwill that is the company's single biggest asset. Product mix is currently 60% film, popular and 40% classical, regional etc. Company has exclusive/non-exclusive agreements with SONY, HMV, TIPS, MUSIC INDIA and carries in stock more than 80% of available Indian music on compact disc format. Vista India has created strategic partnerships with Zee T.V, AVS T.V, Showbiz India T.V for promotion and marketing. It is in the process of partnering with a number of dynamic Indian web sites to actively promote and market its products. Vista India has worked actively with movie distributors in the promotion of the cinema experience. Vista India has been a formative member of the Indian Music Association of North America which has been providing the leadership role in the anti-piracy action in North America. The company has a 12500 sq ft central warehouse in Suburban New Jersey. The company opened a 2000 sq. ft warehouse in high traffic, Jackson Hts area in September 1996 which gives it full access into the heart of the Indian district. The two distribution centers will place the company in a position to cover the entire East Coast effectively.
